Layout and cards

Here's my page I made for Rachel's color challenge on Feeling Scrappy's Scrap with us. We had to use bright summery colors. You still have until tonight to complete challenges for the Scrap with Us and earn the chance to win some prizes!

Here are cards I made for our Cards for Soldiers on Feeling Scrappy. We send them all to one of our awesome members who lives in Germany (she has an APO address so it doesn't cost extra to send them). Then she takes them to a place that gives them to the families of wounded soldiers who are staying there to be with them. They don't have time to shop for cards (I am sure that's the last thing on their mind) but they often need to send some for one reason or another.) We make different themed based ones every month. This month we are making all-purpose cheery cards. I hope you'll join us one of these months and make some cards for a good purpose!

And lastly, cards I made for my scraps challenge-

Photo challenge and layout

Here's my layout and with Feeling Scrappy's photo challenge photos. I totally grunged up the page with my Tim Holtz grunge hammer and roughed up the edges of everything. I thought it went well with the boy theme. Joshua is SUCH a BOY!! Dirt, mess, carefree and energetic! I also used a cool theme pack from Paper Popsicles.

Scrap with us TODAY!

We are hosting a Scrap with us day on Feeling Scrappy. I hope you'll join us for chatting, scrapping, card making and prizes!! We always have a blast. Check in if you can and say hello (even if you don't have time to scrap!!)

A layout to share and other stuff :)

Just finished this page for my Kitchen Keepsakes album. This is for a challenge on Feeling Scrappy. I got this recipe from my good friend Christine (hi Christine!) and I have taken it many places when I've been asked to bring a salad. It's sooo yummy! (Sorry about the blurred out last name. :) )

Make sure to check out the new class on the Paper Popsicles message board...I posted the supply list and a sneak peek of the project there. We will be making word albums with stuff you already have in your scrap supplies! Lots of fun so be sure to register and join us if you haven't already.

First how-to....

I posted a short tutorial on Paper Popsicles using these cool cards. They are a lot of fun to play with and are available in their store for a great price! (As well as lots of fun papers and embellishments to decorate them. I hope you'll go check out the tutorial on the message board under the How-To forum. :)

New challenges, a layout and an announcement!

Been trying hard to get settled in our new home. Still going to take some more time, but it's getting there. Finished up my second layout for a challenge on Feeling Scrappy. All of the new challenges have been posted there so I hope you will check them out. You get entries into the monthly drawing when you complete one or more of the challenges. For one of my challenges, you need to scrap an everyday moment-something that happens often in your home and that isn't related to a special occasion. Kari Ann has a great photo challenge that goes along with this idea so you can complete two at once!! i will post more about the other challenges as I get them completed. Here's the layout I made for my challenge. I used my newest sketch that you can see below. The sketch is also up as our monthly sketch challenge.

If you have never participated in any of our challenges, I hope you will consider playing along this month!!! I would love to see all of your work. DOn't worry about it being good enough or not-all memories and layouts are important, precious and reason to celebrate!

And my announcement is that I am joining the Paper Popsicle's team as a class instructor! I am currently planning the first class which will be posted in July. PP has a great little online store with everyday prices being below retail. There's also a huge clearance section right now-go check it out! Their monthly kits are always wonderful. Go treat yourself to some new scrappy goodies! I just placed my order...what are you getting? :)
